Google Pixel 3: The Ultimate Cheat Sheet

The Google Pixel 3 has finally been announced, and it’s safe to say that many people are excited about the new features that are coming. With this excitement, however, comes the realization that you might have missed out on some of the most important aspects of Google’s newest device during all the press releases and announcements. That’s why we’ve prepared a Google Pixel 3 cheat sheet for you!

Everything you need to know about the Google Pixel 3

The Google Pixel 3 is the latest and greatest smartphone from the tech giant. It has a sleek design, top-of-the-line specs, and a great camera. Plus, it comes with all the benefits of being a Google device, like access to the Google Play Store and Google Assistant. Here’s everything you need to know about the Google Pixel 3. The Google Pixel 3 starts at $799 for the 64GB model and can be purchased on October 18th online or in store. You can also buy the Pixel 3 XL starting at $899, which will be available on October 18th as well. If you’re in Canada, both phones will be available for preorder on October 19th!

 Battery life & charging

The Google Pixel 3 has a pretty impressive battery life. When fully charged, you can expect to get up to 7 hours of talk time, 13 hours of internet use, and 14 hours of video playback. And if you need to charge up in a hurry, the Fast Charging feature will give you a boost of 7 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes.

Screen protectors

If you’re looking for a screen protector for your Google Pixel 3, you have a few different options. You can choose from tempered glass, plastic, or even PET film. Each has its own benefits and drawbacks, so it’s important to choose the right one for you. Tempered glass is an excellent choice if you want full protection with no fingerprints or smudges; however, they can be expensive and difficult to install on your phone.

Plastic is cheaper than tempered glass but less durable; plus, it doesn’t look as good on the phone either. PET film is easy to install but not as durable as other options; however, if you want something that’s cheap and easy-to-install then this might be the best option for you.

Cases & accessories

There are a ton of great cases and accessories available for the Google Pixel 3. If you’re looking for protection, Otterbox makes a great case that will keep your phone safe from drops and scratches. For something a little more stylish, check out Speck’s clear cases, which come in a variety of colors. And if you’re in the market for a new pair of headphones, the Pixel Buds are a great option that integrates seamlessly with your phone.

Tips and tricks

  1. Get to know your Google Assistant: Your Google Assistant is always ready to help – just say Hey Google. Explore what else you can do with a simple voice command like, Hey Google, show me my schedule or Hey Google, what are some fun things to do this weekend? Plus, when you get an update on the latest weather, traffic or stock prices using the built-in Google app on your phone, you’ll see helpful shortcuts so you can act fast.
  2. Take a screenshot without pressing any buttons: Press and hold down the power button and volume down key simultaneously until you feel a vibration. It’s that easy!
  3. Create space in seconds: Free up space on your phone instantly by clicking Settings from the home screen and tapping Storage > Clear cache (or Storage > Clear all data).
  4. Stop wasting time with Face ID notifications for apps you never use: Tap Apps from the home screen, then tap Settings > Apps & Notifications > Advanced (or Notifications) > Show system apps (or App permissions) > Play Store and turn off Notification access for Play Store.
